I know this is an onetime question but it withal does non work for me and information technology'southward really annoying.
So I put in: /impale @east[type=!Thespian]
Which is what everybody says to use. BUT IT DOES NOT Work! It says the entity UUID is invalid.
I've tried information technology with:
adding a infinite between '@e' and '[' making the command: /kill @east [type=!Player] but it kills me as well!
Using {} instead of [] and adding the space only it still kills me.
Using {} instead of [] without the space but it says the entity UUID is invalid
Please HELP!

Then I'g in the latest 1.eight version, and Every control I endeavor either does not work at all due to wrong UUID or still kills me!
Also I try to put a range in {r=xl} but it kills all entities and player in the world.

Yous need to provide the command y'all're using. If you're using curly brackets instead of foursquare, that'south why. The exact commands to use were already provided to yous.

So for killing all entities except players I've tried:
/impale @east[type=!Actor]
/kill @e [type=!Player]
/impale @e {type=!Player}
/kill @e{blazon=!Player}
And for Range I tried /kill @due east {r=xl} Only it still kills every entity in the world
I have as well tried just making a bunch of command blocks, 1 for each entity i desire to kill but it Nevertheless KILLS ME
This is really frustrating

OK! I was typing out the answer to yous an it suddenly worked!!!!
I put /kill @due east[blazon=!Role player]
Now I merely need to effigy out how to add wolves in there...
Would I practice /kill @eastward[blazon=!Player,!Wolf]
or would I put /impale @eastward[type=!Player,Wolf]
